Social Work with Children, Youth, Women

Social work centres cater to the social means of people: children, youth, married couples, senior citizens and the community as a whole. In one region where the birth rate of children with mental disability is very high, campaigns have been organised for their registration, treatment and rehabilitation. Downtrodden women like” Devadasies” are helped to gain self esteem and confidence through training, employment and participation in “Self Help Groups”.
